The Best Harry Potter Memes of the Week

There are rumors flying around that Tilda Swinton might be playing Lord Voldemort in the newest version of Harry Potter, and I just can't understand it. First of all, I have no idea how J.K. Rowling would feel about changing the gender of one of her most iconic characters, especially given what she's been tweeting for the past five years. Also, there has been so much fan backlash about the casting of Snape, I would assume that the casting team would be advised to make the most milquetoast, safe choices imaginable for upcoming casting decisions. 

Adults who are extremely invested in a Harry Potter TV show in 2026 are clearly not the kinds of people who welcome change into their lives. They want the same kind of experience they had when they saw the movie, but longer and with more details from the book. The question of whether the show will be better than the movies remains to be seen, but I really cannot imagine a world where it is. But I've been wrong before!
